Horses & Rodeo

Horses are at the heart of 4F.

Nana Ran Barrels

Merrill G. Frost grew up horseback, and she never really climbed down.

She ran barrels competitively into her late 60s, still chasing a clean pattern and a fast time long after most riders hang up their spurs. For years she hit the road with her best friend, Merrill O'Neal, two cowgirls rodeoing side by side. Today she is the matriarch of 4F, where horses are still the heart of the place.

Rising star: Adeline Frost

Where Adeline gets it

Adeline gets her love of horses from her Nana.

She spent much of her early life on the farm, surrounded by family, love and her beloved horses. The barrel racing came later, but the horses were always there.
