What kind of beef is it?

What's the difference between a box and a share?

A box is a set price for a set list of USDA-inspected cuts, ready now. A share is a deposit on part of a live animal (quarter, half or whole). You pick every cut on a cut sheet and pay by hanging weight at $9.50/lb. Share beef is processed custom-exempt and labeled “Not For Sale.”

Is processing extra?
